NTxBA November HAMMERFEST Classes
Jeff (located right here in the DFW area) is a former machinist turned full-time Bladesmith. His practical experience in the machine shop brought forging, machining, welding, and other fabrication skills to the table. His lifelong love and passion for collecting knives has now turned into a successful career making them! Jeff’s classes are intensive, hands-on, and students walk away having created a blade they can take pride in!

Jeff will show students how to start with a bare billet of blade steel - a simple rectangle - and transform the profile into a blade profile using some forging techniques as well as some anvil-top tooling.
Students will take home a profiled blade blank, ready for next steps. The student will be able to use their own shop to finish the blade or seek out additional classes with Jeff down the road to learn those next steps.

Jeff’s instruction relocates to his own shop in the Ft. Worth area.
This is an immersive, and intense build session. Using Jeff’s custom forge and press tooling, students will turn a high carbon piece of steel into a tomahawk head, ready for the handle. This is an intense, small class that blade makers will really enjoy and walk away with valuable experience and know-how.
